Tracking The Ancient Caribou Hunters in Cheboygan County, Michigan

By Charles A. Koehler Jr.

Tracking the Ancient Caribou Hunters in Cheboygan County Michigan is about my totally new and never before seen or researched possible world record 7 mile long ancient caribou hunting drive lane in Cheboygan and Otsego Counties  Michigan. I will explain how I located the trail. How and where the ancient Natives conducting communal hunts used multiple traps along this trail to commercial harvest Caribou. I also explain in great detail where this ancient trail is located by updating William Burt’s 1850 Survey map to a 2024 map. G.P.S. mapping. And conducting a close archeological survey of most of the 6 miles In Cheboygan County. With the last 1 mile in my next book, Tracking the Ancient Native Migration Pack Trail in Otsego County Michigan.

This trail could have been used as far back as 9,000 years +. before present day, by ancient  Native hunters for millennias. I will explain how this is very possible and most likely. Why in Cheboygan County! Cross examining my research, Using other researchers scientific research and my own personal research from Alaska , Canada  and here in  Michigan. This trial has laid Hidden for about 170 years in Nunda Township near the town of Wolverine Michigan. Hunters and fishermen from all over Michigan have always been attracted to the Wolverine Michigan area for its Blue Ribbon trout streams, Deer, Elk, Grouse and now Ancient Caribou.
