This Book is about how I went into the field and tracked down the mapped Indian Trail in Otsego County Michigan. Blending earlier research with my on going new and original research, extending the trails previous know length. Conducting a close archaeological survey of the now known four mile trail producing a detailed updated 2023 map. I also include G.P.S. mapping, along with all my research and lots of full color phots, so you can travel along the forgotten path that contains the Ancient trail.

 Combining research both new and old. I believe this trail can be linked to the peninsular Woodland Culture that once lived in this area of Northern Lower Michigan, the Upper peninsula of Michigan and parts of Wisconsin. apparently totally forgotten by modern people, researchers and archaeologists. This Culture dating 800 A.D. to 1600 A.D. was in the trading spear of the Hopewell Mound Building Culture. This first book starts us off into a continuing journey to great discoveries of ancient native history in Northern Lower Michigan.
